Mounting the Fully Automatic Twistlock

Cargo Care Solutions’ Fully Automatic Twistlock features a spring mechanism that assists with easy removal from the container. The handle has a cue for correct mounting and the hook ensures secure attachment.

Watch our instruction video to see how our twistlock is installed. Our FAT is mounted and dismounted by following these steps:

Mount

To mount the twistlock, face one of the corners at the short side of the container, and tilt the Fully Automatic Twistlock into the socket, and hear the click for correct placement. The Fully Automatic Twistlock is now correctly attached, and will fit into the container underneath.

Check

After mounting all four twistlocks, check all front cues are visible on both ends of the container

Dismount

To dismount the FATs, face the cue at the twistlock handle and pull the spring mechanism downwards. It now unlocks from the socket, making it easy to grab the handle and swipe it out.
